efficiencies may not be realized. Mid-America Business Systems understands
this fully and for over twenty-four years has been constantly improving
the ways in which we service our clients.
As with any effective organization, our success begins with the
people we employ. We are fortunate to have on the Mid-America team
some of the finest and most experienced records management equipment
and software technicians in the Twin Cities. Although our technicians
have combined experience of over 100 years, we continually invest
in ongoing training to keep their skills current. As an organization
Mid-America Business Systems achieves and maintains the highest
possible service certification levels with the vendors we represent.
In addition to installing and servicing Kardex, Minolta, and Kodak
equipment, we are able to service other major brands like 3M, Canon,
Bell & Howell, and others. We take pride in being versatile and
flexible in "doing what it takes" to creatively and effectively
meet the needs of our customers.
Listed below are details about the services we offer:
Installation Services- the unpacking, delivery, assembly,
configuration, and testing of products we provide. We also install,
customize, and configure related software applications.
Repair Services- services we provide to repair or
maintain equipment which is not functioning correctly, performed
either on a warranty or time and material basis.
Maintenance Contracts- ongoing agreements to service
products at a fixed annual cost. This fixed cost includes all labor,
parts, and travel expenses. This is the best way to budget repair
costs.
Consulting Services- upfront consulting provided
to establish needs, review applications, design specifications and
other necessary aspects relating to present or future needs or to
a specific project.
Training Services- end-user instruction designed
to promote the proper and most efficient use of the products we
provide.
Relocation Services- disassembly, repacking, delivery,
reassembly, and testing of equipment for clients who are relocating
the equipment.
Software Services- the installation, customization,
configuration, updating, or trouble-shooting of software applications
related to the products we sell. This can include networking issues.
Scanning Services- conversion of either hard copy
or microfilmed records to electronic media.
Microfilm Services- conversion of hard copy records
to roll and/or jacket microfilmed records.
Kardex Electronic Board Repair Services- component
level repair of electronic circuit boards.
