Montel's Paneleon Series recently received a BEST OF SHOW award from the Design Journal at the NeoCon World's Trade Fair 2004. Designed by Serge Rainville, Montel's Vice President Engineering, the Paneleon Series was recognized for its innovatory, ease of use, and overall design. Introduced in May 2004, the Paneleon Series is a new generation of visible lighted front panels that operate on an electrical high-density mobile shelving storage system. Based on the traffic lights concept, the green lighted front panels advise the users when the system is safe to activate, yellow cautions of a physical presence or danger in an aisle, while finally the red lighted front panels warn the users that the mobile storage system is in operation. This innovative lighted system brings a safe comfort level for the users.
