Enhanced Print Quality - Printing at 600 DPI allows a higher
quality image to be transferred to the drum creating a more precise,
defined print. The MS 6000 enhances dithering, contrast and threshold
to produce optimum print quality, turning low quality film images
into readable prints.
Reliable Operation - The quality engineering built into
the MSP 3000 printer allows consistent printing operation. The short
paper path eliminates paper jam possibilities while the cartridge
system keeps the inside of the printer clean. With minimal moving
parts, the MS 6000 keeps you in production.
Low Cost Operation - The large capacity toner cartridge
used by the MSP 3000 printer keeps toner costs to a minimum. With
a larger capacity cartridge that reduces operator time required
to replenish toner.
Easy
to Use - All of the controls to operate the MS 6000 are easily
accessible in the front of the scanner and have a universal symbol
with English text to help operators adjust settings. Most of the
features are automatic such as exposure, bi-mode, masking, deskewing
and print scaling eliminating the need for many operator adjustments.
The dual paper supply allows up to 400 sheets of paper to be stored
at 8 ½" x 11", 8 ½" x 14" or 11" x 17" paper sizes. The optional
large paper cassette offers up to 1150 sheets for longer service
and less frequent paper reloading.
Increased Productivity - The MS 6000 printer prints at 20
pages per minute production. First prints are delivered within 13
seconds while the MS 6000 scanner completes its scan cycle within
7 seconds and is available to advance the film to the next image
for printing. Also, a Cycle Print feature can be utilized to automatically
initiate a new scan based on an interval set by the operator (between
.5 and 5 seconds) for printing a series of filmed images or a complete
microfiche.
Manual Masking - Designated areas may be masked or edited
with the manual masking option securing confidential information
and eliminating unwanted information.
Text, Fine and Photo - High resolution prints may be made
from a variety of films with the flexibility of setting the print
mode to that specific image. Text mode gives you the finest resolution
for printed information, fine mode helps despeckle background from
lower grade film and photo mode enhances the detail of photographs
and graphical images
11" x 17" Prints - The MS 6000 allows printing to 11" x
17" prints enlarging the print area on the viewing screen to fit
that size. This allows better prints for fine detailed images such
as newspapers and drawings.
Zoom Lenses - Adjusting image size is easily accomplished
with zoom lenses that range from 9x to 50x.
