Kodak Microfilmers
Kodak offers a microfilmer for every need and workload. From the
Desktop 3 Microfilmer to the Kodak Imagelink Microimager 70, all
Kodak microfilmers are built with Kodak precision and are meant
to last for many years with minimal downtime. All models are also
designed for minimal training needs and for ease-of-use.
Kodak
Desktop 3 Microfilmer- The compact Kodak Desktop 3 Microfilmer
packs fast, convenient microfilming into a machine that fits almost
anywhere. Automatic feeding and duplex filming allow operators to
process up to 500 check-size items per minute with ease. Interchangeable,
snap-in film cassettes make it simple for different users or departments
to share the same microfilmer. Optional image marking is also available
for faster retrievals. Recent improvements include a new cover design
that reduces noise levels, a new receiving hopper, plus new composite
gears that help extend the life of your microfilmer even further.
When it comes to timely, secure backup, you can depend on the Desktop
3 Microfilmer.
Kodak Imagelink Microimager 30- The Microimager 30 is fast,
reliable, and easy to operate. The transport mechanism handles a
wide variety of document types dependably, while maintaining accurate
document sequence. You'll get more work done in less time. That
translates into real improvements in productivity.
The Microimager 30 is engineered for enhanced operator comfort
and efficiency. The work shelf, document feeders, and output hoppers
are easy for the user to reach. The keyboard and operator interface
is designed to be very user friendly. This ergonomic detail adds
up to less overtime, less training, and more productivity per operator
hour.
The Kodak Imagelink Smart Cassette used in the Microimager 30 contains
its own microprocessor to monitor film status. The Smart Cassette
detects improper threading or any loss of tension in the film. It
shows how much film is remaining on a graphic display and indicates
how many more documents can be filmed as the end of a roll approaches.
The cassette provides for foolproof duo filming- at the end of a
roll, the operator simply turns the cassette over and continues.
The Microimager 30 accepts two Smart Cassettes for automatic backup.
As you would expect from Kodak, the optics flexibility and automatic
exposure control assure you of precise images on a wide variety
of applications. The Imagelink Microimager 30 houses 24:1, 40:1,
and 50:1 optics in a rotating turret. These multiple reduction ratios
make it easy to handle different jobs that require different reductions
and formats. There are also options available to upgrade to ink-jet
printing, patch reading, bar code reading, and optical character
recognition.
Kodak Imagelink Microimager 70- The Microimager 70 is an
enhancement to the Microimager 30 described above. In addition to
the features of the Microimager 30, the Microimager 70 comes standard
with built-in image marking for automated indexing and retrieval.
It's also fast, reliable, and easy to operate. The 80-character
display communicates information about the job and the machine's
status in any two of five available languages. You can also add
an advanced function module which adds time/date stamping, alphanumerica
film writing, and twice as many indexing modes.
With either of the Imagelink models you'll have a high-volume,
reliable capture device that's ready to integrate with the systems
you buy tomorrow.
