Mid-America Business Systems is in the business of simplifying
the records management and material handling needs of our clients.
For over twenty years we have been working with the Minnesota business,
government, and educational communities to find effective, cost-saving,
and innovative ways to manage their documents and materials. During
those years we have built a solid reputation for quality in the
products we sell and in the services that we provide.This has resulted
in a long list of satisfied clients.
In order to best serve our customers, we have organized our staff
and resources into the following groups:

from hard copy storage to microfilm to electronic document imaging.
Products
Mid-America Business Systems has partnered with the best and most
reliable vendors in the records management industry. We are proud
to work with great companies like Kardex, Minolta, Kodak, and many
others. We work hard at establishing and maintaining these relationships.
We strongly believe that "best in class" products are the key to
helping our customers solve their records management needs. We also
make sure that out sales and technical staff are continually updated
on technology changes and that we remain expert in our field.
In addition to "hardware" products, Mid-America Business Systems
carries a full line of standard and custom file folder and label
products as well as software designed for custom filing and labeling
applications.
Services We Can Provide
Our Services Division has developed a broad range of services including
the following:
Installation Services - the unpacking, delivery,
assembly, configuration, and testing of products we provide. We
also install and configure related software applications.
Maintenance Contracts - ongoing agreements to service
products at a fixed annual cost.
Consulting Services - upfront consulting provided
to establish needs, review applications, design, specifications,
and other necessary aspects relating to a specific project or general
needs. .
Training Services - end-user instruction designed
to promote the proper and most efficient use of products we provide.
Relocation Services - disassembly, repacking, delivery,
reassembly, and testing of products for clients who are moving to
a different location.
Repair Services - services we provide to repair equipment
which is not functioning correctly, performed either on a warranty
basis or on a time and material basis.
Software Services - the installation, configuration,
updating, and trouble-shooting of software applications related
to the products we provide.
Scanning Services - conversion of either hard copy
or microfilmed records to electronic media.
Microfilm Services- conversion of hard copy records
to roll and/or jacket microfilmed records.
Prepaid Services - a prepaid purchase of services
which can cover the entire range of services we provide. By purchasing
this "block of time", customers are able to reduce paperwork and
approval processes, reduce hourly service costs, and choose from
a wide range of service offerings.
